Workshops

Workshops are arranged as appropriate on a variety of interventions which have been found to be helpful to our families.

We run workshops covering such topics as Neurodevelopmental approaches, nutritional and environmental issues and homeopathy. We circulate everyone on our mailing list with information regarding these workshops and post details on our website.

Shared parent/user feedback on food, nutrition and behaviour and complementary therapies

Attention Fife welcomes the sharing of relevant experiences and information with families who have opted to try complementary therapies either with, or as an alternative to, conventional medical approaches.

A focal point to highlight pertinent issues regarding ADHD

We aim to be open and receptive to parent's and children's experiences of living with attention/learning differences which may be called ADHD.

We also record feedback, positive and negative, from families and workers on relevant issues. Any feedback may then be shared, as appropriate, with the intention of raising awareness and understanding and, hopefully, precipitating positive change.

Parent Support Groups

Attention Fife acts as an umbrella organisation for a network of local parent support groups across Fife. Groups are currently meeting on a monthly basis in Kirkcaldy, Levenmouth, North East Fife and Dunfermline. We hope to re-establish a group in Glenrothes in the very near future, and to start a new group in the East Neuk area.
